Recap 2012

It has been a fruitful year for me in terms of quilling. Some of the exciting things that happened this year include:
  • I just found out that I had 100 followers on Lulu's Quilling Lab! Thanks!
  • Took part in my first bazaar (read about it HERE)
  • My Christmas cards were featured in local newspaper (read HERE)
  • Went quilling hunting in Hanoi (read HERE and HERE) p/s: There's a last part which I haven't manage to write about it yet. Will post it up early 2013, I promise!
  • Celebrated my little shop's 1st Anniversary!
  • Conducted 3 adult beginner quilling classes and 1 kids quilling class.
  • Did a talk and demo at local bookstore (read HERE)
  • Received Liebster Blog Award from Kiddo (read HERE)
And some updates, I received some lovely gifts for my birthday few days before Christmas
This is from one of my best pal
And this is from my hubby

And a few quick photos just to share

Something that pushed me out of my comfort zone - a special request from customer. The pink butterflies were quilled following pattern found on the internet written by Honey's Quilling. The yellow ones are my own adaptations because the customer requested something smaller.

A young gentleman ordered this

Sold this last month at the bazaar

My last completed order of the year- for a school club's appreciation dinner.

Last but not least, I wish everyone a Happy and blessed 2013! Stay healthy! Find joy everyday and keep quilling!!!
