Liebster Blog Award

I received the Liebster Blog Award from Kiddo of Romania. Dear Kiddo, thanks a lot for remembering me. I really appreciate this! ^_^ Go check out Kiddo's quilling and some paper craft at her blog

The idea of the Liebster Blog Award is to spread the love from one small blog (under 200 followers) to other small blogs. This helps to spread knowledge and readership.

To accept the award, you must:
1) Link back to the person who gave it and thank them for thinking of you.
2) Post the award to your blog.
3) Give the award to five bloggers (with less than 200 followers) that you appreciate and value.
4) Leave a comment on the blogs of the five people you have chosen to let them know.

"Liebster" in German means "dearest", so to carry on the Liebster tradition, I am going to pass the award on to 5 people who's blogs have been an inspiration to me and my crafting.

There are a few quillers like Ann, Inna, Cheryl, Baukje, Dr Sonia whom have been a source of inspiration but they either have received the award from someone else or that they are bloggers who have many followers, so they are 'overqualified'. Hahaha! So I'm giving this award to:

1. Phillipa - She has been giving me encouragements and tipping me off here and there about quilling. I admire her for the initiative and effort in experimenting with new techniques to push the boundary of quilling.
2. Suzana - There is no counter on her blog but still I'm awarding this to her. I admire her for the details and craftmanship of her quill work.

3. Sathya - For her lovely quilled flowers (on her blog) and kind comments she leaves on mine.

4. Sylvia - There's also no counter on her blog but nevertheless, I'm awarding this for her lovely quilled miniature girls and for being a fellow Malaysian quiller (or Sarawakian too if I'm not mistaken?)
5. Yuenie - For her lovely Totoro and cute quilled cards.

  1. Thanks for choosing me for this award Lulu...And thanks so much for liking my quilling....

  2. Thanks for the award Lulu. I hadn't come across your blog before - and being here for the first time, I was very pleasantly surprised to see you're from Kuching :) High five to a fellow Malaysian crafter!

  3. Thanks for the thoughtful award Lulu. I never expected it. Wow! I'm speechless already.
And yes, you're right. I am from Miri, Sarawak! (Finally, a fellow Sarawakian, yeeeeeeeehhaaaaa!)
