I've fallen in love with quilling

I was a little surprised this morning when I came across comments from a few new visitors on my Christmas wreath post. Later I found out that it was because Ann of All things paper had kindly posted a link to my blogpost on her FB page. Thanks Ann! To update, I've sent my quilled monogram and Christmas wreath to be framed and this is how they turned out to be:
This piece is largely inspired or influenced by Yulia's work. It's a birthday present for my best pal and she really love it!
This is yet to be sent to my supervisor as a Christmas gift. You can either hang it on the wall or stand it on the table.
Some Christmas cards that I made
This Christmas tree is inspired by Ann Martin in her post Quilled bird thank you card. It's a stamped card design on the front cover of  CardMaker magazine November 2011 issue.
And this one above I called it a winter flower. It's actually inspired by Claire's work in this post http://clairespapercraft.blogspot.com/2011/11/11.html
I love quilling, not only for the fun and calming effect that it has to offer but also largely due to the quilling community itself which is always friendly and helpful. They willingly share ideas and new techniques (to the extend of posting tutorials and videos), accredit the person who comes out with something new, give encouragements and compliments, also post comments on how to improve your quilling etc. So I feel that quilling is not only a paper art, it is also the 'people art' - of sharing and caring. And I'm so blessed to be a part of this wonderful community.
